This stylised bridal shoot is an accomplice to the Boudoir blog. It was a bit too cold in early Spring to take these outside so we did our best with the natural light from the windows. From the hand written calligraphy on the invitations to the hand-made hair accessory, we had a lot of fun creating this stylised wedding shoot. We used a combination of new and old as well as a variety of textures to create the invitation sets. To add true history to this retro styled bridal look, some antiques were used: the white gold rose engagement ring, stamps from various Asian countries and the jewellery box. The wedding dress was borrowed from Monsoon’s bridal collection and captured with the Contax 645 and a Canon EOS 3 and Fuji 400H and Kodak Portra 800 film.
