This was an engagement for Yin and YiXuan were originally from Hong Kong and Malaysia during their last remaining days in London. Yin had studied and worked here for a number of years, and so chose locations that she had a special affinity for. One of the new locations for me was inside one of the various buildings of King’s University that had an old chapel, and was also a very popular location for shooting movies.
I don’t normally like to repeat locations for shoots unless I feel they are really special, and I have to say that the open square within Somerset House is really great location. When there are no events being hosted it is often sparse and the architecture makes for a wonderful background. The sun also appears from behind the main building in the morning, which makes for perfect lighting by 11am, I highly recommend this location.

Great light for the outdoor shoot. The indoor shoots are also amazing! Is it 24mm that create such wide amazing works?
The colour are brilliant as well!
This shoot looks very youthful and sweet. It’s a beautiful love story in very iconic locations.
