This was such a simple and chilled out portrait shoot that took place with very little effort. I wanted to capture images that portrayed a calm and comfortable feeling and wanted this captured in film (Fuji 400H). I think UK Film Lab did an amazing job developing and scanning these negatives with such soft and even tones that complimented the subject and theme.
Blackheath is walking distance from my house, and is truly one of my favourite locations in London. The atmosphere gives the feeling of being subtly old fashion and quaint that makes you feel good and fortunate to be there. There is however also a darker urban myth attached to the Common, which states that no development has even taken place due to numerous bodies from the victims of the plague being buried underneath the earth there.

I was especially touched by the beauty and ethereal quality of these photos. Excellent work.
Thanks both, Pavla was really easy to work with.
Very beautifully done, you really get the light to cooperate with you so well. Your mastery over film photography is very impressive. This shoot offers great tones, colours, lighting, bokeh, focus, styling, emotion and composition.
